Faraday Website SnapshotBrief:

Faraday approached us with an interesting brief for their website. They had at present a site that had been in place for several years which was seriously out-of-date and lacking certain information to comply with legislation.  The new website was to contain a great deal of information on the company and its products. Additionally the new site had to take advantage of as much potential as the web could offer them in terms of new media. For this we discussed the indea of including a Vitrual Plant Tour.

Project:

We created an image for Faraday going off their business card as a reference. The new site was to be completely different in style to their old incarnation. We were commissioned to take some video of the various processes in action and Gordon supplied us with photographs of the finished PCB's he had available at the time. The site took on a dark image with a colour scheme in tune with any standard PCB. The photography is used througout the site and is most prominent in the large banner at the top which rotates through the various products. The quality of the products speaks for themselves and gives a good impression with the large sized images used.

The site has a great deal of information available so a search feature was a necessity. A new ticker system was installed on the homepage to pull through current items from the news archive and a data capture form was also employed on the homepage to collect users addresses for any future mailouts. An advanced feature was also setup to allow clients of Faraday to login and upload larges work files for use by Faraday.
